Wi-Fi Assist is the new feature added to iOS 9 which automatically turn on your mobile data whenever your iPhone or iPad receives a poor WiFi connectivity. This feature will be much handly as there is no need to turn-on the mobile data whenever there is poor WiFi signals.

But many of the iPhone and iPad users have complained that their lots of MB has been eaten up after enabling the Wi-Fi Assist feature. So, the below steps will guide you to Disable WiFi Assist on iOS 9 devices.

How to Turn Off Wi-Fi Assist on iPhone and iPad running on iOS 9 to Save Mobile Data:

1. Locate and launch Settings App on your iOS device.

2. Choose Cellular > Wi-Fi Assist.

3. Tap on WiFi Assist to disable.

So, here after you will not be migrated to Data connectivity whenever there is a poor WiFi signals. If you wanted to enable the WiFi Assist option in future, then just toggle ON WiFi Assist option.
