Install CWM Recovery and Root NVIDIA Shield, NVIDIA Shield Tablet

Root NVIDIA Shield

Before we proceed to install CWM Recovery and Root NVIDIA Shield and NVIDIA Shield Tablet, we must follow some set of instructions to prepare NVIDIA Shield and NVIDIA Shield Tablet for the rooting process.

Pre Requisites:

2. Now copy both Towelroot.apk and SuperUser.apk files to your device’s SD card.

3. Now open the file manager on your device and install towelroot.apk.

4. Open it from the app drawer.

5. Click on “make it ra1n”.

6. Once done download the SuperSU app from the Google Play Store.

7. Reboot your device.

That’s all now you have successfully Rooted NVIDIA Shield and NVIDIA Shield Tablet. Now you can proceed to install CWM Recovery on NVIDIA Shield and NVIDIA Shield Tablet.

Install CWM Recovery on NVIDIA Shield and NVIDIA Shield Tablet:

1. Download the CWM Recovery Package from here to your PC. [NVIDIA Shield] [NVIDIA Shield Tablet]

2. Copy it to your device’s SD card.

3. Install Flashify on your NVIDIA Shield or NVIDIA Shield Tablet.

4. Once installed open it.

5. Now tap on “Recovery Image > Choose a File > Locate the Recovery Image > Flash It”.

6. Once done, reboot your device into recovery mode.
