Micromax Unite 2 A106 gets Android Lollipop OTA Firmware update

Earlier Micromax promised to roll Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Micromax Unite 2 A106 and as per promise the company started rolling out the firmware update to the smartphone.

The update for Micromax Canvas Unite 2 is available via OTA (over-the-air) and its weighs 412.94MB in size. The build which brings along with the Lollipop is dated April 24th. Users get a update notification popping-up on their screen. Just click on the notification and it ask to download the Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware. One can manually check for updates by going to Settings > About phone > Software update.

Recently Micromax launched Unite 3 Q372 smartphone which runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. It sports a 4.7-inch IPS touchscreen display and has dual SIM support. The Unite 3 comes with 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 2000 mAh battery and is powered with 1.3GHz MTK6582 M Quad Core Processor.
