YU on Thursday finally launched its latest flagship smartphone, the YU YUTOPIA in India for Rs. 24,999. The smartphone is equipped with all those high-end specifications and features. Like company previous devices, the YUTOPIA will be sold exclusively on Amazon India. Pre-booking for the device already started and the sales begin on December 26.
YU, which is the sister company of Micromax has launched 4 devices before the announcement of Yutopia, All these four device- the Yureka, Yureka Plus, Yuphoria, and Yunique features md-range specifications. Among all the devices, YU Yureka was most successful considering the sales number. Now with the launch of Yutopia, it becomes the company first handset to feature the high-end specifications.
YU YUTOPIA Full Phone Specifications:
The Yutopia is made with aircraft-grade aluminium, and has just 7.2mm of thickness. It flaunts a 5.2-inch (1440 x 2560 pixels) QHD OGS display with Corning Concore Glass protection and 565ppi of pixel density, Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 SoC (2GHz Cortex-A57 quad-core coupled with 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 quad-core), coupled with the Adreno 430 GPU and 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
The YU YUTOPIA had full metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the back for better security. It runs on Cyanogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
The device sports a 21-megapixels rear camera with dual-tine LED Flash, Sony Exmor RS IMX230 sensor, 4K Video Recording. and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF). It also includes a 8-megapixels camera on the front above the screen for taking beautiful selfies.
Coming to the storage, the YUTOPIA has 32GB of inbuilt memory and hybrid dual SIM support, where the second SIM slot can be used as microSD slot for memory expansion up to 128GB. 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac (Dual Band), Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS are the various connectivity options available on the smartphone.
The flagship packs with a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 feature. According to the company, the device can be charged from 0% to 60% in just 30 minutes which is fantastic.

It comes in Grey color options and has price tag of Rs. 24,999. The device can be pre-order from Amazon.in starting from today and the company ships from December 26th. The YUTOPIA has limited stock, so be quick before the stock expires.
