#5. Enter into Fastboot mode. To do so connect the USB cable to PC and hold Volume Up in your device and connect it to PC. Now the LED will turn blue.

# 6: Open Command Prompt inside Fastboot folder in PC. To do so open Fastboot folder in PC and press and hold Shift Key and right click anywhere inside the Fastboot folder in the empty space. Now from the list click on open command window here.

I think you need to change the order in the Pre Requisites: First you need to
Backup TA partition. How? Follow here.

    and then
Unlock Bootloader on your device from here.

    • Thank you for informing us…

  • Roland

Recovery mode after fastboot reboot is not popping in. Tried all the button possibilities, none works.

    • Try issuing “fastboot boot recovery” command. This will boot your device into Recovery Mode..Hope it worked!!

      • Roland

        I get “cannot load recovery.”

        • follow this thread and you will be able to boot into CWM Recovery mode – follow here.

          • Roland

The problem is that the phone doesn’t want to communicate with the computer, the only way to make it work is the fastboot, but CWM is waiting for the device on install. Is it possible somehow to rollback the changes that the boot.img made ?

          • Sorry to say but you can’t roll back the boot.img installation. Instead you have to flash the stock ROM back. Try searching for the stock ROM in Google hope you will find it. BTW i’m not much clear about your problem can you describe it briefly, may be i can help you. What are you actually trying to do, are you willing to install the CM11 ROM or ?

          • Make sure you have installed the USB Drivers for your device. If not then your device won’t communicate with your device. So install the USB Drivers from the pre requisites section of this post.

          • Roland

So, originally i wanted to install CW 11, the communication was perfect till the boot.img, after that, the phone doesn’t want to communicate, i can’t see the internal or external storage since then. It’s like it became invisible. The phone is not booting up, doesn’t even gets to the Sony logo, only the leds are working.

As it is not working, right now i would be fine i could just change back the system to the default state.

          • So you have bricked your device…don’t worry revert back to stock firmware from here

          • Roland

  • Roland

Downloading it right now, never though it is so easy to brick, but well, at least i learned something today. Thank your for your help, will write if i had succeeded.
