Toshiba unveils Toshiba Encore 2 Write Windows tablet with new TruPen digitiser in two screen sizes – Check Specs, Features, Price and availability
Toshiba at CES 2015 unveils Toshiba Encore 2 Write, it is the latest-gen windows tablet and will be available in 8-inch and 10.1-inch variants. The tablet comes pre-loaded with Thosiba’s proprietary apps likeTruNote, TruRecorder and TruCapture. TruNote is the Notes taking app, TruCapture helps to capture textbooks to convert They also come with TruPen digitiser, powered by Wacom Fell technology and offers 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Toshiba Encore 2 Write comes in two screen sizes 8-inch and 10-inch and both of them will offer 1280 x 800 pixels resolutions. It is powered by Intel Atom processors mated with 2GB RAM and 64GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
Toshiba Encore 2 Write Sports an 8MP rear shooter and a HD font facing selfie camera. The slate runs on Windows 8.1 OS and offers a year access to Microsoft Office 365 Personal and provides you 11 hours of battery life. Other specs like micro-USB port, micro-HDMI port etc. are supported.
Toshiba Encore 2 Write will be available starting January 11th in United States and will follow global launch. The 8-inch variant will go on sale with a price tag of $350 (approx. Rs 22,100) while the 10-inch variant will be available at $500 (approx. Rs 31,500).
