These 17 T-Mobile devices to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Google promised to roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update to its Nexus device starting from today. So, the Nexus 6, Nexus 5, Nexus 9, Nexus 7 2013, and Nexus Player can experience the all new Marshmallow OS starting from today. The OTA update might takes time to hit the devices but Google has made the factory images live for manually upgrading your device.

Today, T-Mobile announces the list of its devices being upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow firmware. There are a total of 17 devices in the list. So, if you own any of the smartphone in the list and are on the T-Mobile carrier then get ready for Android 6.0 update in the next coming months. Earlier HTC and Motorola also released the list of devices compatible with Android 6.0 update.

The list of T-Mobile devices to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade are-

  • HTC One M8
  • HTC One M9
  • LG G3
  • LG G4
  • LG G Stylo
  • Nexus 5
  • Nexus 6
  • Nexus 7
  • Nexus 9
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5
  • Samsung Galaxy Note Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S5
  • Samsung Galaxy S6
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S2

Of the above devices, Nexus 5, Nexus 7, and Nexus 9 are in the final stage and the remaining mobiles in the list are yet in the first stage of Marshmallow integration. The Xperia Z3 is absence in the above list which indicates that the device will remain on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. There are few other T-mobile mid-range devices which are less likely to be upgraded.
