Samsung Galaxy S7 to include an Iris scanner- Rumor

Samsung Galaxy S7, the next upcoming flagship smartphone from Samsung has been on talk soon after the launch of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. The earlier rumor stated that the Galaxy S7 would be powered with Snapdragon 820 processor and expected to launch somewhere in the month of March 2016.

Today a new rumor has been surfaced claiming that the upcoming Galaxy S7 flagship smartphone will include an Iris scanner. With the help of this feature, users can unlock the device by just looking at it.

So, the Iris scanner technology will replace the fingerprint scanner in the upcoming flagship smartphone. Earlier LG G5, which is the LG upcoming smartphone is also rumored to feature an Iris scanner for better security purposes.

According to the source, the smartphones with Iris scanner will hike the prices of the smartphones in the coming days which means the Galaxy S7 will be more costly than its predecessor, the Galaxy S6.

Like the Galaxy S6 series, the Galaxy S7 series will also consists of various handsets. The Galaxy S7 will be powered with Snapdragon 820 processor while the other variants are likely to power with Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890 SoC.
