Motorola Moto X on US Cellular to receive Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update this week

Motorola Moto X on Us Cellular is going to receive Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update in US based carriers. As we have heard reports about T-Mobile’s Kitkat soak test for Moto X a few days ago, but unfortunately Magenta carrier won’t be the next to receive the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update, but in fact US Cellular based Moto X will be first to receive this update.

According to Droid-life reports, the US Cellular Moto X (XT1055) will receive the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update beginning today and the full deployment of the update will happen by February 12. The update is claimed to bring lot of improvements and fixes to the device and also increase the performance of the device.

Motorola claimed that once the device is successfully upgraded with this update then the Moto X users will experience lots of improvements in the Camera of the device and other features. The update also includes support for Google Print Services and some general Google enhancements / improvements with Kitkat. It also includes Synchronoss APK upgrad to version 1.3.0.24 and Enhancements to reduce occurrence rate of duplicate SMS.
