Motorola Moto G Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update is Rolled out in INDIA

Motorola Moto G Indian version getting Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update with security improvements and better camera features – check details.

As we know Motorola Moto G was launched on 6 February 2014 in India and is exclusively available on Flipkart and now the handset is getting Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update. The Smartphone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the box and from now it will run on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat firmware, it is just one week the Smartphone is launched in India and it received its first Android update.

This Android 4.4.2 Kitkat firmware update for the device is 230.7MB in size and is available via OTA (Over-The-Air), this update was earlier rolled out to Indonesian owners. The update actually brings many security improvements and added camera features with it, to improve the user’s experience.

The update brings updated phone dialer to the device that allows users to look up contacts directly from the dial pad. In the camera improvements the update brings locked exposure during panorama capture, manual focusing and exposure, along with many bug fixes.

Additionally the update also comes with immersive mode, improved closed captioning, restyled navigation bar, smart power use, security improvements and an updated gallery. This update also adds SMS/MMS support to Hangouts, and the users can now set Hangouts as their default SMS app in the device.
