Last week Motorola said that it was starting to roll Android 5.1 to the Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G LTE and now the update is live in the devices.
Motorola was always quick in pushing the latest firmware update and we have seen the same with its second generation hardware. But more importantly Moto E (2nd Gen) being an entry level device getting the latest firmware updates.
Several users of the Moto E (2nd Gen) with the model number XT1527 said that they are receiving the latest Android 5.1 update. The update carries as build 23.11.15 and weighs 258.8MB in size.
The update brings a number of improvements to the smartphone which includes the ability to swipe up on a Heads-up Notifications, better control over notifications and much more.
