Micromax Canvas Knight 2: 5-inch Android Lollipop Smartphone- Quick Review, Price, Release Date, Specifications

Micromax just announced the Canvas Knight 2, a 5-inch smartphone priced at Rs. 16,299. The device comes with a free 4G SIM from Airtel which includes 4G Double Data offer that “doubles the 4G data amount for any consumer activating the 4G SIM”. The latest smartphone from Micromax, the Canvas Knight 2 will be available to grab starting from Wednesday.

The device sports a 5-inch HD AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and comes with two Nano-SIM card slots for 4G support. It is powered with a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor and has 2GB of RAM. However the internal storage of the device has not been made official from the company, but the device includes microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The Micromax Canvas Knight 2 packs with 2260 mAh battery which is said to deliver up to 7 hours and 45 minutes of talk time and 335 hours of standby time. There is 13MP rear shooter camera which includes Sony IMX214 CMOS sensor and a Largen 5P lens and also comes with 5MP front facing fixed focus camera.

The smartphone comes preloaded with Android application like Apps Center, CleanMaster, Snapdeal, SwiftKey, Chaatz, Newshunt, Quickr and Hotstar apps.
