Micromax today unveiled the Canvas Express 2, it most affordable Android smartphone in India. It is priced at Rs. 5,999 and available exclusively on Flipkart.com. Earlier Micromax launched Canvas Spark Q380 cheap Android phone in India for just Rs. 4,999. It is one of the top smartphone under the price category of Rs. 5,000 and is available exclusively on Snapdeal.com. Both the smartphones, the Canvas Express 2 and Canvas Spark has quite similar specs and thus competitive to each other. The Canvas Express 2 E313 has a 5-inch HD display with 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution while the Canvas Spark sports a 4.7-inch (960 x 540 pixels) with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Both the devices can give a good experience while watching movies, playing videos, gaming, etc.

Coming to processor, the 5-inch smartphone has a 1.4GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592M processor and the 4.7-inch handset is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6582 processor. Both the devices comes with 1GB of RAM for better multi-tasking feature.

Software and Storage:

The Canvas Express 2 E313 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat while the Canvas Spark runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The Canvas Express 2 has a 13-megapixels camera on the back with LED flash and a 2-megapixels camera on the front. On the other hand, the Canvas Spark sports an 8-megapixels rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixels Selfie camera. The 13MP camera on the Canvas Express looks impressive, however the quality of the camera will be cleared after the camera review.

Both the Canvas devices includes connectivity options like Bluetooth, 3G, GPS and Wi-Fi.
