Canvas LapTab with Android, Windows 8.1 dual-boot revealed at CES 2014

Micromax has launched its new 10.1 inch tablet called as Canvas LapTAb with dual boot, Android and Windows. Its announcement is first made by an Indian company at the ongoing CES 2014 event. The Canvas LapTab is the first tablet with two OS’s installed on it, with dual boot option launched by Micromax.

Commenting on the launch, Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder of Micromax said,

Micromax Canvas LapTab sports a 10.1 IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The tablet is powered by 1.46 GHz Celron N2805 processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal Storage with 64GB expandable option via microSD card slot. It runs on both Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and Windows 8 Operating System.

Canvas LapTab does not have rear camera, while it has 2 MP front facing for video calling. In terms of connectivity Canvas LapTab supports Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 etc. and will be revealed later as the company hasn’t revealed anything about it. It is packed with a huge battery of 7400 mAh battery and we can expect it to last for the whole day, with single charge. The Canvas LapTab comes with transleeve which can be used as a cover and stand for the wireless keyboard. The keyboard is powered by 230 mAh battery nad weighs 580 grams.
