As many Smartphone vendors are coming with latest Selfie focused devices, Asus also announced its own at a ZenFestival event being held in India. The device is dubbed as “Asus Zenfone Selfie” featuring a 13-megapixels front facing camera.
Coming to the specifications, it has a 5.5-inch FHD display with 72% screen to body ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection and has 13-megapixels rear camera with Real Tone flash and Laser auto focus. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Zen UI 2.0 on top.
There is a 3000mAh battery on the back which is well enough to provide backup for an entire day and measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 10.8mm and weighs 170 grams. The Zenfone Selfie has 2GB/3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage which can be extended up to 64GB via microSD card.
The handset has dual SIM support and includes connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n and 4G LTE.
The Asus Zenfone Selfie (ZD551KL) is priced at Rs. 15,999 and comes in Pure White, Aqua White, Aqua Blue and Chick Pink colors. The smartphone is announced with three other Android devices- the Zenfone 2 Laser, Zenfone 2 Deluxe and Zenfone Max.
