Asus Mobiles on Wednesday launched its new budget smartphone in the ZenFone series, the ZenFone Go. The latest Asus smartphone has been listed on India’s one of the top online retailer store Flipkart.com with a price tag of Rs. 7,999. The device will soon available to purchase.

The specs of ZenFone Go adds 5-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 pixels screen resolution adding a pixel density of 294ppi. It has a 2GB of RAM for quick multi-tasking which is seen in most of the latest budget devices. The thing which would upset the customers is its internal storage. It offers only 8GB of inbuilt memory while many other company handsets packs with 16GB at the similar price tag.
There is a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor under the hardware field which is coupled with Mali-400 MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Asus ZenUI on top. To provide juice to the handset, a 2070mah battery has been allocated on the back.
The Asus ZenFone Go has an 8-megapixles rear camera with LED Flash and a 2-megapixels front camera for video calling and Selfies. Apart from 4G LTE, the device includes all the other connectivity features. We still have a question why Asus does not include the 4G LTE option in its latest budget device, while many other recently launched entry-level devices comes with the LTE feature.
It measures 144.5 x 71 x 10mm and weighs around 135 grams. The device comes in three different colors variant- Black, Red and white.
