Asus Zenfone 2E launched in US for $119.99- Details

Asus launched Zenfone 2E smartphone in the US and can be purchased through AT&T carriers for $119.99. This budget smartphone have a similar look to that of Zenfone 2, but varies in specifications. The original Zenfone 2 already doing well in the US smartphone market with its 4GB RAM feature on top.


The Asus Zenfone 2E has a 5-inch HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop based on ZenUI and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor. There is 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front shooter with aperture of f/2.0.

The Zenfone 2E comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt memory which can be extended up to 64GB with microSD card and a 2,500mAh battery. Connectivity options of the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. It measures 148.1 x 71.4 x 10.9 mm and weighs 155 grams.

The smartphone can be purchased from Walmart and Target stores starting from today, while the device lands on AT&T shop on July 24th. There is no information on availability of this handset in other regions.
