Just as expected, Apple has launched New iPod Touch (2015) today in India. Adding new chipset and better cameras are the biggest change Apple has made from the previous device.
Just like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the new iPod Touch also has a 64-bit A8 SoC and aalso has M8 motion coprocessor for accurate tracking of fitness activities. The previous generation iPod Touch consists of an A5 chip. Other features of Apple new iPod Touch includes 4-inch Multi-touch IPS display with 326 pixel density, a 8MP iSight camera with f/2.4 aperture, LED Flash, FHD video recording and a 1.2-megaapixles Selfie camera with 720p video recording. The connectivity features are updates with faster 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1.
The latest iPod Touch comes in different storage variant 16GB model for Rs. 18,900, 32GB variant for Rs. 22,900 and 64GB is priced at Rs. 26,900. Apple also launched 128GB variant which is available only in U.S. for $399. Coming to colors, customers have five variants to choose- space grey, gold, silver, pink, and blue. All these different storage and colors variants can be purchased from Apple Authorised Resellers across India.
