Google is planning to launch Lava-manufactured Android One smartphone on July 27 in a special event for which the company already started to send the press invites. According to the earlier reports, the 2nd Gen Android One smartphone was scheduled to launch on July 14th which doesn’t happen. Now it seems that Google is all set to unveil its latest Android One Smartphone in India.
The above image highlight the invite reads “Witness the Power of 1” where “1” gives the idea of Android One Smartphone. There are certain rumours that the Lava Iris X5 4G is the Google next Gen Android One phone, however it will be confirmed only in launch event happening on July 27th.
The rumoured specs of Iris X5 4G includes a 4.6-inch display (1280 x 720p), is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 12MP rear camera and a 7MP front camera.
